What EFT can do for you
EFT is short for Emotional Freedom Techniques. Developed by Gary Craig, an engineer by training and personal performance coach, EFT is practical and results-oriented. It uses the ancient Chinese meridian system and some very clever psychology to bring about rapid and long-lasting change. In a nutshell, EFT removes the negative emotions behind the vast majority of emotional, physical, and spiritual challenges. Gary Craig says "Try it on everything". Safe enough to use for babies and in pregnancy, EFT often works where nothing else will.
What do you get on your course?
Your EFT course includes practical experience with several applications, your own comprehensive reference manual, and your attendance certificate.
Aftercare
Upon completion of your course, you are eligible to join the African Healers association. This supports your personal growth in a caring and responsible way. Should you wish to be a EFT practitioner, the African Healers Association are here to help promote your services. Your aftercare also includes
6 months' FREE email support.
Is it OK for you to learn EFT?
EFT is suitable for anyone to learn on our classes unless you have schizophrenia, psychosis, manic depression, borderline personality disorder, or similar serious psychiatric condition. This is for your own mental health and wellbeing in a workshop environment.
How long is your EFT course?
Our class sizes are very small. EFT Learner and EFT Healer classes are a maximum of five attendees. So you get personal attention and get your questions answered quickly.
We also recognize that most of our students have weekday jobs or are a parent or carer.
With both of these factors in mind, you only attend for one special intensive day for EFT Learner, two intensive days for EFT Healer, and our 1200 hour course is available to you once you successfully complete your Learner workshop.

Where your EFT training is held, and what time to start
Your EFT workshops are held in a friendly environment in the Big Bay or Tableview area, usually from 12:00 till 18:00. For dates and fees, please scroll down.
When do you get your attendance certificate?
You are presented with your attendance certificate at the end of the last workshop day of your Learner or Healer workshop. For example, with EFT Learner, this is at the end of the day. You get your full course certification upon completion of your course.
When can you practice EFT professionally?
As things currently stand, most attendees practice EFT upon successful completion of your Healer workshop, including case studies and written examination. We guide you how to practice safely and responsibly. Ideally, we would like you to do Gary Craig's own training and our two-year (min) course and would encourage you to do so. To do Gary Craig's own examination, you need to have done EFT on 100 people. This is where out training comes in, as we provide you the support structure to grow and develop to that stage, guiding you every step on the way.
Rightly or wrongly, L like many therapies and beauty treatments, EFT is not subject to government regulation as yet. We are fighting for government recognition, so that you can claim payment from medical care schemes if you want to work with EFT. The rules are complex, and you can always contact us for clarification, but basically, there is no legal reason why you cannot set up in business offering EFT after your Healer workshop, but if you wish to continue the program of study, you are more likely to get more client referrals for a viable full-time practice using EFT. What can you expect to pay for your EFT course?
A degree in psychology costs not just the financial commitment but also the time commitment. EFT achieves much more at a fraction of the price and in your own time, so that you can carry on earning while you learn. And we genuinely want to reach as many people as possible to spread the healing. So our training and course are set at a price that most can easily afford. You just pay a small deposit to secure your place and settle the modest remainder when you attend your class workshop for the first two workshops, and further workshops are at a very low price, so you can pay for them nearer the time with ease.
How to Book Your Workshop
- For attendees inside South Africa, please note!
- In order to reserve your place you must do so well before the due date. Bookings are stricly by payment of the relevant amount. No payment = no booking. Payment on the day of the workshop is not accepted.
- To reserve your place by Bank Transfer Email me, or call me, Suzanne Zacharia, on 072 700 5334 to arrange payment.
- When you arrive for your workshop, you simply pay any remaining amount, if applicable, by cash.
- For attendees from outside South Africa, please note!
- If you are outside of South Africa, I need you to make the payment in full and not just the deposit. This is to satisfy any visa conditions and convince me and the authorities that you genuinely intend to attend the training.
- After you make your payment:
- We then email you details of venue address, what to wear, what to prepare, etc, after acceptance and after the funds have cleared (usually within hours). At the end of your workshop, you are presented with your attendance certificate. The is no waiting and no hassle.

You may wonder why you see the following statement on my and others' literature: This workshop represents the views of the presenter and is not individually approved or endorsed by EFT, Gary Craig or emofree.com. This is because there were many interpretations of what EFT should be, good and bad. It is important to me to give the best representation of EFT I can. EFT is trademarked, and you should be wary of anyone who gives a version different from what is in the EFT Manual and claims that their version is how to do EFT. When you train in EFT as a professional, the client that subsequently sees you expects to get the trademarked EFT from you. The African Healers association is working for this therapy's acceptance by the South African government bodies, so that everyone in South Africa can have the maximum benefit from this highly effective healing method. I do my best to show you what I understand to be EFT in its pure form, and I tell you what additions and adaptations I like using with it. It is important to have this distinction. This way, you will be clear in your mind and can make the right choices that work best for you.

Terms and conditions
Any deposit or advance payment up to the value of R500.00 for treatment or for workshops is non-refundable and non-transferable. Up to one month before the start of any pre-paid course of treatments or workshop, the amount paid minus R500.00 is refundable or transferable should you change your mind. Between one month and two weeks of this time, 50% of the this remainder is refundable or transferable. After two weeks before the commencement of a course of treatments or a workshop, any pre-paid amount is non-refundable and non-transferable.
